Santa Barbara is known for its artists, but none shine brighter than Ray Strong! His diverse, influential and abundant pieces of art speak his legacy till today. Ray Strong’s paintings were often his way of documenting subjects.

The Greyhound Gathering Returns to Solvang!

The Solvang gathering was first launched in 2004. Greyhound gatherings were popular in Mississippi and they eventually came to Solvang. Every year this event has grown in size and popularity. This fundraiser is a way to embrace greyhounds and their owners. An oak tree was planted in honor of them too!

The proceeds of the event are used to rehabilitate ex-racing greyhounds by finding a loving home for

them.
